SUMMER FETE 2017
Caldicott - Saturday 17th June 2017: Thanks to everyone for coming to the Caldicott Summer Fete, to everyone that helped make it a successful day by running stalls, providing food and drinks and donating toys and sweet jars. Your fabulous efforts have been rewarded with huge success all round and everyone had a brilliant time. The Mad Hatters Tea party theme was reflected around the stalls creating a great atmosphere and a fun theme for the cake competition.
The boys who are boarding and running stalls raised £2417 - the winning stall was Hatters Sweetie Jar who raised £278.65 - well done boys. The money will go to the boys chosen charity The Flying Seagull Project www.theflyingseagullproject.com/
The friends stalls raised £6568 and the silent auction raised £1200. Some of the funds will be going towards the new PAC kitchen installation in the Centenary Hall kitchen that is taking place over the summer to enable boys to have cookery lessons.

Emma Cramner won the match day with Ailsa Pettersson winning the prize for best dressed. A big thank you to BP Collins for donating our prizes. We had a delicious 2 course lunch in the outside restaurant to complete the day. Well done everyone.

QUIZ NIGHT 2017
On Thursday 2 February 13 teams sat excitedly in the Centenary Hall awaiting the annual Caldicott Quiz. There were 2 tables of staff and 11 tables of parents. Each table of 10 brought their own picnic dinner and had a fine selection of wines and waters to choose from the bar. Our headmaster led us expertly through the series of tough questions, controlling the crowd at all times. For extra points we were asked to put together a sphere and a cube from a collection of wooden pieces which was particularly challenging for some teams. Each team had a joker to play but did they play it wisely?
The winning team was Clueless - well done!
